Preparing the future of healthcare.
Our foundation is deeply rooted in rural Nebraska, where neighbors are like family. In caring for our communities, we nurture growth and well-being for our children. Inspired by the experiences of those we have helped, we are dedicated to enhancing outcomes. Emergency responders and hospital staff often witness the challenges within our communities. Life First Learning acknowledges the sacrifices and hardships faced by rescuers. While not every day presents the opportunity to save a life, each day brings multiple chances to make a positive impact on someone's life.
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."
- Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)
Professionalism and Integrity. These are not just buzzwords to us but the very pillars upon which our business stands. Professionalism, to us, means approaching every task with the highest level of skill, dedication, and commitment to excellence. It’s about consistently delivering quality that not only meets but exceeds expectations, ensuring that every interaction and every event reflects our deep respect for the work we do and the people we serve.
Integrity, on the other hand, is the moral compass that guides every decision and action we take. It’s the unwavering commitment to honesty, transparency, and fairness, whether we’re dealing with patients, partners, or colleagues. In a world where shortcuts and compromises may sometimes seem tempting, we hold fast to integrity as the foundation of trust and the key to building long-lasting relationships.
Together, Professionalism and Integrity shape our business, defining who we are, how we work, and why we succeed. They inspire us to strive for excellence, to innovate responsibly, and to conduct our business in a way that not only achieves goals but also contributes positively to the communities we’re a part of. These values are our promise to you — a promise of a partnership that values quality, honesty, and mutual respect above all.
Ensuring First Responders are Equipped to Save Lives
In the heart of rural communities, where the closest hospital may be miles away, the first few minutes following an emergency are critical. Our mission is dedicated to empowering healthcare providers and first responders with the tools, training, and support they need to provide life-saving care during these crucial moments. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by rural emergency services, we are committed to bridging the gap in healthcare accessibility through advanced technology, continuous professional development, and fostering strong community partnerships. By enhancing the capabilities of our rural healthcare entities, we aim to improve patient outcomes and ensure that no call for help goes unanswered, regardless of where it comes from.
Elevating emergency care standards in rural regions.
In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, the need for robust and responsive emergency care in rural areas has never been more critical. Our program focuses on delivering world-class clinical training specifically designed for rural healthcare providers. By leveraging advanced simulation technologies, hands-on workshops, and immersive field experiences, we equip practitioners with the skills and confidence needed to tackle a wide range of emergencies. From trauma care to disaster response, our curriculum is tailored to address the unique challenges faced by rural healthcare systems. Our goal is to not only improve patient outcomes but to transform rural communities into resilient hubs for emergency healthcare excellence.
The Lyle B. Huffman Memorial Scholarship was established to support first responders of the future, while remembering our friend who gave so much.
“Working as an ER nurse the last 7 years, taking the Critical Care Transport class has helped me broaden my knowledge not only in the ED setting but in the transport world for patient care. Taking this class has made me appreciate our transport ground/flight crews even more, and I want to continue to challenge myself to improve my skills and knowledge.”
"As a professional photographer in the hunting and shooting industry, I have been in multiple situations with clients where I needed to attend to injuries, most commonly knife wounds. Realizing I needed to provide real care in these situations, and requiring first-aid and CPR training to qualify for a guide license, I reached out to Robby Rhembrandt. He was immediately responsive and, working within my small window of time, quickly scheduled a personalized training date. As an avid outdoorsman himself, Robby honed the training towards my individual needs and used several examples of hunting incidents he’d seen in his career as a first-responder. Robby has extensive knowledge and a passion for helping others. He brings that passion and past experiences to the training, making it concise and memorable in order to simplify the process and help embed the knowledge of what is required in that moment of need."
