Kai is the Medication Aide Coordinator for Life First Learning, as well as an instructor for the CNA classes. She is also a registered nurse in the ICU at Regional West Medical Center. She has her Bachelors in General Biology from UNL and completed her Bachelors in Nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Before working as a nurse, Kai worked as a CNA in a dementia unit at a long term care facility. Kai and her husband are both from Panhandle and returned to the area in 2023 after finishing school. When she isn’t working or teaching Kai enjoys traveling with her husband and their two dogs.
